A friend of mine wants to grow her hair longer. I want to give her tips on it but i dont have enough. I wonder if there are any easy, cheap products you can use to improve hair growth and stop it from breaking. Are there any? If so, can you give me the names? Any help, tips, advices or personal experiences are welcome!
Have a nice day and thanks for answering!

Cool way to hep your friend but it all comes down to what kind of hair they have. In order to grow your hair reasnably you have to learn to take care of it and understand what texture you have ie selecting the appropriate styles, shampoos, conditioners and maintenance products to keep it healthy. I haven’t found a hairstylist I could trust so I don’t buy into the hype of going to a professional they are more rigged with psycho drama and gossip than helping you with your hair and they don’t switch up the products for each hair type. I have watched caucasions go into the same shop I do and see them get their hair washed with lusters products clearly made for African American women.
Different strokes for different folks. A person with thin hair will probably lean toward products that provide volume and sheen without making the hair heavy with oily residue. A person w/thick hair may want to invest in products that will lock in moisture. All the while conditioning the scalp for more hair growth.
As an african american woman with locs I go for products that will lock in moisture and give my hair a clean sheen. I saw an Oprah aftershow where someone was dying to know what she used in her hair and she responded the same way.
You may find a product that works but every three months you have to change it, because the hair gets use to it. I was using an organic carrot based cream that worked great in the beggining after a while my hair stopped responding to it. Just remember the basics. Eggs, avocado and mayo are good natural conditioners. Lemon, beer and witch hazel are great for dry itchy scalp. and Peppermint and Jazmine tea are great for rinsing the hair.
Anything in between is you being careful and making a wise choice for healthier hair.

How about trying AMLA hair oil- this can be found in almost all indian stores. There are tons of oils there for women wanting longer stronger hair. Coconut oil and almond oils are good. I usually try to put the amla in my hair once a week. Make sure to massage it into the roots and leave it on for a few hours.

a natural way is rosemary. you get the rosemay boil it, like if you were making a tea. and let it cool down and put it in a spray bottle. Use it every day. you can use it on damp hair or dry. This also helps the hair loss. Thats what I used when my hair started falling out to regrow it and to make it stop falling. Good Luck

Have her order prenatal vitamins. I order them online and I use Perfect Prenatal vitamins. Also using Infusium 123 is a good product.
